Registration FAQ

Player Acceptance into the program

Before beginning online player registration, you must have a formal invitation email from the club, along with a unique Player Assignment Code. This code will ensure that your player is assigned to the correct CVU team and will select the correct club fees owed for that specific team.

Payment

You may choose to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover), eCheck or check. Please note the credit card company will charge an additional fee (around 2.5%) if you pay by credit card.

You may choose to make a single payment or installment payments.

If the installment payment option is chosen and you choose to pay by check then a post-dated check for each installment payment must be submitted.

Checks should be made payable to “Conejo Valley United SC”.

Installment payments schedule:

You may choose the number of monthly installment payments, up to 5.

In order to be able to participate in Fall League, you must be fully paid up by September 1st. If all payments are not received by the Club by September 1st, your player’s card will be held until full payment is received, and she or he will not be able to participate in practices or games.

Financial Assistance

Any financial assistance must be applied for within 30 days of registration and is subject to the club’s approval and availability of funds. We require a completed financial aid application and recent tax return for consideration.

Families receiving financial assistance are required to volunteer to support club activities (usually as a field monitor at one of our tournaments).

If a player wants to move to another club during, the full amount of the team dues must be paid, and any financial aid received must be repaid to the Club.

Delinquent payments

Any player delinquent in dues could have their player card taken and be removed from participating in any club/team activities.

In order to be able to participate in Fall League, you must be fully paid up by September 1st.

Players returning to the club from a prior season must have fulfilled their prior season financial obligations before their current season application will be accepted.

The Club will not release a players card to another team or club until all amounts owed have been paid.

Refunds

The Club does not give refunds except for prorated refunds for season-ending injuries or if the family moves away from the greater region. Under no circumstances are refunds given because of disputes with coaches or dissatisfaction with playing time, positions, tactics, etc.

Player Name

The player’s name must be entered EXACTLY as it appears on their birth certificate, regardless of what they may be called or may use as a nickname. This is a National Youth Soccer rule. Please also enter their birth date carefully.

Pictures

Make sure that you have a recent headshot photo of your player on your computer so you can upload it during registration or email one to: admin@cvusc.com. Be sure to provide your player’s name and their team.

Player birth date verification

Players who did not play for CVUSC in a prior season must submit a valid form of birth date for verification by the club registrar.

The only valid forms of birth date verification are an original (or certified copy) of the player’s birth certificate or a current passport.
